Week 10
In week 10, we are required to make 2 moodboards consisting of inspiration references for our final project design. I did my research on installation designs on Pinterest to get some inspiration that can match my ideas or provide me with new insights on how to enhance my current ideation.
In week 10, we are required to make 2 moodboards consisting of inspiration references for our final project design. I did my research on installation designs on Pinterest to get some inspiration that can match my ideas or provide me with new insights on how to enhance my current ideation.
Week 11 to Week 12
We showed our moodboards to Mr. Zeon for checking. He then introduced us to the next design stage: to think of a concept for our chosen site design and write a brief story describing it. In the concept story and initial designing stage, we need to include design elements and principles in our design as we are required to implement what we have learnt in previous lecture classes into this project. Besides, we also need to figure out the programmes that will be happening in our spaces. After making the design concept, we are suggested to start on the draft sketches that showcase the structure of the space.

The title for my designed space was called as "Unfolding Horizon", which wished to emphasise the value of meeting one another in a collaborative space. Unfolding Horizon aims to strengthen the relationship between people by showing how every encounter connects different people and even becoming a passerby of others which creates meaningful moments together. By having openings from different angles, it allows users coming from different directions to meet each other at the core.
